Pacific Quay & SECC, Springfield
This project involves the development of a pedestrian
and cycle footbridge with pontoons to connect the Clyde walkway on
the north bank to the south bank of the River Clyde at Springfield
and Anderston Quays and to create river stops at transport
The Anderston Quay location is next to a proposed Fastlink stop.
A feasibility study has been conducted into the viability of the
Feasibility study complete. No decision on implementation timescale.
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
