Green networks

A key part of the regeneration is the access to and use of open space around the river.

In order to ensure that adequate consideration was given to this a study was carried out in 2006 to develop the Clyde Waterfront Green Network Strategy. This overlaps with many of the other topics here including:

planning and land use
community and health
arts, culture and heritage
environmental links
transport and access
economic regeneration
The report has been posted in sections for download. Part 1 gives an overview of the strategy and context. Part 2 examines each of the six themes listed above. There are then the eleven 'action area' sections providing more detail on activity in each areaGreen Networks
