Old Kilpatrick to Dumbarton, Old Kilpatrick
Petrology is developing this specialist welding technology
centre comprising a 650m² workshop with overhead crainage and 325m²
of office and staff facilities.
Located adjacent to Petrology's existing headquarters on
the north bank of the River Clyde immediately to the east of the
Erskine Bridge. The centre has been specifically created to
design, develop and test welding techniques for the gas and oil
Construction is complete and the client has moved in.
The building became operational in June 2006.
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
