Renfrew Riverside & Scotstoun, Braehead
This new development provides a garden centre
retail complex incorporating restaurant / café and farm food
hall with ancillary works including car parking, outdoor display /
demonstration gardens and landscaping.
The façade of the building uses sustainable timber and cladding
to soften the appearance of the building.
The development will create approximately 120 new full and part
time jobs across a wide range of employment types and skills
including retail, specialist horticultural and management
A full planning application was approved by Renfrewshire
Council on 27th April 2010. Construction started summer
2010. Complete February 2011.

Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
