Location:

Renfrew Riverside & Scotstoun, Renfrew

Description:

The new building will replace the existing and outdated Victorian Police Station on Inchinnan Road. It will support the demands of modern policing and provide better facilities for the public and staff alike.

The office will be environmentally friendly and will feature a rain collection unit on its roof with the collected water being reused.

Construction work is expected to take around 12 months to complete and it is hoped the building will be operational by March 2012.

Current status:

Full planning consent granted August 2010.

Timescale:

Construction commenced March 2011. Completion expected spring 2012.
