Glasgow City Centre, Gorbals
This is a 2-phased project with a total of 104 housing units and
one or two shops. The homes are being developed for rent and
replace two multi-storey flats which were demolished in 2006.
Although planned in two phases both phases have been constructed
together and the entire project was completed in 2009 with an
official opening in May 2009.
Completed May 2009.
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
