Description:
This development on the site of the former Co-op building will create 70,000 sq ft of office space with retail space on the ground floor. The commercial development will create an exciting new business destination for new start ups or companies who are looking to downsize. Retail or restaurant use will enliven the ground foor on this prominent junction.
The opening of the Broomielaw - Tradeston bridge makes this a very central location for small businesses looking for a city centre presence.
In November 2011, the building was destroyed by fire. Demolition and clearance of the site has taken place, and a new build mixed use option is being considered.
