Cuprum is a mixed use development on Argyle Street between Oak
Street and Cadzow Street. For developers Taylor Wimpey it is
the fifth phase in the redevelopment of Cadogan Square. This phase
has been developed in partnership with Tristram.
The project has two main components. An office building
of 9,200 sq m with 37 car parking spaces to the east half
of the site and 122 apartments running from the commercial building
and returning into Oak Street.
The office building is arranged over 6 floors plus mezzanine
with 37 parking spaces, providing good quality office space in
Glasgow City Centre.
Started in summer 2006. Complete Q1 2010.
The project has an end value in excess of £50 million.
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
