Description:
92 new homes are being built in Erskine to address the chronic shortage of affordable rented property in the town. Bridgewater Housing Association (BHA) is about to begin work on the £10 million development creating both houses and flats. The development, in Rashielee North, is the first rented housing to be built in the town for 30 years. It will include two, three and four-apartment flats and terraced houses as well as greenspace and a children's play area. The new homes will be built between the A726 and the North Barr housing estate and will be accessed from the Barrholm roundabout.
