Clydebank & Erskine, Erskine
92 new homes have been built in Erskine to address the
chronic shortage of affordable rented property in the town.
Bridgewater Housing Association (BHA) is behind the £10 million
development to create both houses and flats.
The development, in Rashielee North, is the first rented housing
to be built in the town for 30 years. It includes two, three and
four-apartment flats and terraced houses as well as greenspace and
a children's play area.
The new homes are located between the A726 and the North Barr
housing estate with access from the Barrholm roundabout.
Completed January 2013.
2011 - 2013
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
