Clydebank & Erskine, Rothesay Dock
This development has created a 10-acre modern,
purpose-built boatyard on the finger pier at Rothesay Dock East,
Regeneration of redundant dockland has provided the only
boatyard on the upper Clyde. It is expected to attract a range of
marine services, creating a commercial community beneficial to
both occupiers and customers.
The first phase is complete. This includes a 75-tonne boat
hoist, work and storage space. Initial occupiers are in place and
additional facilities will be added to reflect demand.

Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
