Pop up cinema for the waterfront

10 Dec 2012

Pidgin Perfect is collaborating with the Glasgow Youth Film Festival to produce a 'pop up cinema' on the embankment of the Clyde at Custom House Quay.

Between January 2013 and July 2014 Pidgin Perfect will carry out a series of temporary live projects to engage the public with stalled spaces in an effort to get them thinking differently about how these spaces could be used in the future.

The first of these live projects will be delivered in collaboration with the 2013 Glasgow Youth Film Festival (GYFF) and the 2013 Glasgow Film Festival (GFF) and is scheduled for the beginning of February 2013.

Pidgin Perfect will collaborate with the GYFF to produce a 'pop up cinema' on a site located on the embankment of the River Clyde as part of the 2013 GYFF programme, working with the GYFF Youth Team to co-ordinate and deliver the project.

The aim of the project is to produce an interactive screening of 'Girl Walk // All Day', a 90 minute short film dance music video set in New York City.
