The makers of the TV drama series, Footballers' Wives, has
agreed to rent space in a new HQ for Glasgow-based creative
businesses.
TV production company, Shed Productions, has been announced as
the latest tenant to sign up for space The Hub at the city's
Pacific Quay.
The maker also of Waterloo Road and Rock Rivals, the company is
to take approximately 750 ft² at the waterfront building, on a
five-year lease. It will join flagship tenant, the Digital Design
Studio, which has already signed up to take 15,123 ft².
Completed just over a week ago and offering flexible amounts of
space from 127 ft² upwards - as well as flexible leases that will
suit both larger companies and individual operators - The Hub says
it is all about "building a seriously creative community at the
heart of the new Digital Media Quarter on the banks of the River
Clyde".
Adds Donny McKinnon, director of developers, Downtown Space:
"Shed Productions is exactly the kind of tenant that we had in mind
when creating The Hub, so it's fantastic news that this
high-profile production company will be joining the Digital Design
Studio at the building.
"The whole ethos of The Hub is that we are building a new
community where, ultimately, up to 50 businesses will be based, all
benefiting from unparalleled opportunities to network with each
other. To have two such prestigious creative organisations signed
up as tenants already is a huge success both for The Hub and for
Glasgow overall."
