Then there is a list of local and international architects involved in the regeneration of the Clyde. Finally there are some links to information about architects from the past.

The Lighthouse The Lighthouse is a development of the former Glasgow Herald building designed by Charles Rennie MacKintosh. Gillespie, Kidd and Coia Designers of one of the few listed buildings from the 50s and 60s. Our Lady And St Francis Secondary School is near Glasgow Green and beside Homes for the Future. This site gives details of an exhibition on their work. Web link
British Linen bank Govan An example of a Salmon and Gillespie building from the very end of the 19th century. Part of the Glasgow Style. Web link
The Glasgow Story A history site for Glasgow including old photographs of many buildings. No longer being updated so finishes around the year 2000. Web link
Burnet family The Burnet family are very important Glasgow architects. The most famous is JJ Burnet who designed the Clyde Port Authority building in Robertson Street amongst many others. This website concentrates on sculpture but includes details of architects who used sculpture in their buildings. Web link
