Description
The 16 acre Queens Quay Enterprise and Learning District will house several developments. The first is a new home for Clydebank College, which opened in August 2007. The striking three-storey building is located on a six acre site and will house a range of modern facilites.With an impressive courtyard and balcony overlooking the River Clyde, Clydebank College will certainly be a popular place to work, visit and study.
The second development is Titan Enterprise, which opened in autumn 2007. This comprises a high profile, copper-clad, two-storey structure. The new enterprise pavilion, now known as Titan Enterprise, provides 13 500 ft2 of small office space suitable for start-ups and expanding young companies. The new building can provide up to thirty modern, fully serviced, office suites for start up and developing small businesses ranging in size from 265 ft2 to 957 ft2.
There will be over twenty construction jobs created as part of the Clydebank-Rebuilt projects on site and when the whole enterprise district is completed, there will be over 200 new jobs in the area.
The third project is now being planned. Clydebank reBuilt have appointed Reiach and Hall to develop proposals for a second commercial building adjacent to Titan Enterprise, currently known as Pavilion 2.
