Description
The Purple Hotel at Braehead has around 90 bedrooms, a restaurant, a bar, meeting rooms and extensive parking. Representing an investment in excess of £6m, the new hotel will create 35 new full and part-time jobs with rooms priced at a highly competitive £55-65 per night.
The facilities will include a range of executive and standard bedrooms as well as accommodation for guests with disabilities. Food, beverage and meeting facilities will all be available.
The Purple Hotel is the first hotel to serve the rapidly growing Braehead regeneration area, which comprises business, leisure and residential development, and the Braehead Shopping Centre. Around £500m has been invested in Braehead by the private sector and some 4300 people are currently employed on site.
