Renfrew Riverside & Scotstoun, Renfrew
As part of the Renfrew town centre regeneration programme,
Renfrew Town Hall has undergone refurbishment. Over £1 million
pounds of external funding has been awarded.
The three existing function rooms have been improved to provide
better access for people with mobility restrictions, and a new
marriage suite has been created.
A new Renfrew Community Museum is a feature of the Town Hall
complex, featuring a community exhibition space.
The space at the front of the building has been developed into a
public foyer, with comfortable seating, a cafe with wi-fi access,
information services and a museum gift shop.
Complete January 2012.
2010 - 2012
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
