Location:

Renfrew Riverside & Scotstoun, Renfrew

Description:

As part of the Renfrew town centre regeneration programme, Renfrew Town Hall is undergoing refurbishment. Over £1 million pounds of external funding has been awarded.

The three existing function rooms will be improved to provide better access with people with mobility restrictions, as well as a new marriage suite.

A new Renfrew Community Museum will open within the Town Hall complex and will house a community exhibition space.

The space at the front of the building will be developed into a public foyer, with comfortable seating, a cafe with wi-fi access, information services and a museum gift shop.

Complete January 2012.
