Description:
The award winning Xscape concept comes to the Clyde Waterfront, with the development of a new landmark building alongside the Braehead shopping centre, retail park and leisure facilities.
As well as a real snow slope, Xscape includes an Odeon multiplex cinema, indoor bowling, two climbing walls, an aerial assault course, bars, restaurants and shops.
Xscape expects to attract 3 million visitors a year and will employ around 800 staff.
Current status:
Construction work began in November 2004 and completed in March 2006 with the opening of the cinema, fun station and various leisure outlets.
