Renfrew Riverside & Scotstoun, Braehead
Formerly known as The Purple Hotel, The Campanile opened in
The hotel provides 103 ensuite bedrooms, 4 meeting rooms
which can accommodate up to 60 delegates, all with natural
daylight, air conditioning and audio visual equipment.
The hotel also boasts a 50 cover lounge / bar restaurant and
offers free car and coach parking.
The Campanile is one of 2 hotels to serve the rapidly
growing Braehead regeneration area, which comprises business,
leisure and residential development, and the Braehead Shopping
Centre. Around £500m has been invested in Braehead by the
private sector and some 4300 people are currently employed on
The hotel is now open
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
