Location:

Renfrew Riverside & Scotstoun, Yoker

Description:

21 new homes have been created in Blawarthill Street. 9 of the homes are located in a newly build three storey tenement building and the remaining 12 homes are located in three housing terraces. The project includes two houses for residents with particular housing needs.

The positioning of the housing addresses the risk of overshadowing from the adjacent four storey red sandstone tenements. An east - west orientation of two of the housing terraces and a north - south orientation of the third housing terrace ensures that all of the new homes get sunlight and natural light throughout the year. Car parking facilities are provided off Blawarthill Street.
