Description:
SECC are seeking to identify a purchaser who will deliver a new hotel on this gateway site adjacent to the new National Arena for Scotland. A planning application has been submitted for the development of a 179 bedroom 3 or 4 star hotel. A neighbouring multi-storey car park with 1600 spaces is also planned. A footbridge, crossing Congress Way, will link the car park and hotel site with the new arena and SECC campus.
Current status:
Outline planning consent has been obtained for the overall scheme with detailed consent obtained for the multi-storey car park.
