Description:
An extension to the existing St James Retail Park is planned on vacant land to the east of the existing Asda store.
The new development would add an additional 70,000ft2 to the non-food retail floor space of the retail development.
Current status:
Outline planning permission was granted in 2006 for 70,000 sq/ft gross retail floorspace. Detailed planning permission was refused in November 2008, but an appeal is currently under way.
