The new facilities have been created for Brock Bowling Club,
making way for a new school which is planned for their previous
The location for the brand new facilites is the southmost part
of the playing fields at Overburn Avenue in Dumbarton.
The new development includes a club house and bowling green, car
parking and an access road. The facilities will belong to West
Dunbartonshire Council and be leased to the club.
The new build matches the club's existing provision.
The project is now complete.
2011 - 2012
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
