Location:

Greater Govan & Glasgow Harbour, Linthouse

Description:

This development provides a 12 bedded independent hospital delivering world class epilepsy assessment, diagnosis and treatment - the only facility of its kind in Scotland.  The new building, which replaces the current project at Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir, includes all en-suite bedrooms and provision of the latest diagnostic technology. There is accommodation for carers, as well as facilities for training, seminars and research.

The location of the new centre in Govan allows for close partnership work with the Neurological Institute at the Southern General Hospital.

Current status:

OJEU Notice for Expressions of Interest was issued June 2011. Construction started February 2012.

The building was completed and opened in April 2013
