Description:
SWG3 is an arts & education centre based in a former Customs & Excise bonded warehouse by the River Clyde in the centre of Glasgow.
SWG3 is focused on the production, presentation, interpretation, and dissemination of the work of innovative artists in all media, fostering creativity and uninhibited artistic exploration.
The space now includes workspace for artists, a gallery and a music venue. The project has now expanded into railway archways in Eastvale Place, creating more space for artists studios.
Current status:
Continuing to develop the building and surrounding area as an artists' quarter, gallery and venue. The intention is to secure a longer term lease for the property and then seek to develop it further.
