Every room will be refurbished with new carpets, furniture,
artwork and bathroom facilities. Rooms on the 10th and 11th
floors will be converted into higher specification executive spaces
to appeal to corporate customers. These rooms will include
free wifi and late checkouts.
The hotel's conference facilities and bar and restaurant
have also been upgraded.
Ongoing refurbishment, which will be carried out in blocks.
2013- Spring 2014
Between 2003 and 2014 Clyde Waterfront was a strategic
partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish
Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire
Councils. Its purpose was to promote the economic, social and
environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from
Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
