Description:

A  1960s office block in the heart of the city centre is being redeveloped into a new landmark building.

BAM Properties are creating a new £70m office and retail development on the site, which is located opposite the Gallery of Modern Art in a prominent position on the corner of Queen Street and Ingram Street.

The building will have a sleek, contemporary, curved glass façade and will provide 143,000 sq ft of office space over floors one through to eight. The ground and mezzanine levels will feature retail / leisure units spanning a further 23,000 sq ft, which will be accessed from Ingram Street. At basement level there will be 56 car paking spaces and cycle storage.

The developers are working to ensure the highest environmental standards are reached by the building and aim to secure a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.

Current status:

Construction work began on site in January 2013.
