Description:
Britain's first seaplane airline provides a service based on the river Clyde in the centre of Glasgow . The service was launched in Summer 2007 and is Europe's only seaplane service operating from a city centre.
For the previous two years, Loch Lomond Seaplanes Ltd operated Scotland's first commercial seaplane service from Loch Lomond, providing a popular facility for the conference, event and city break markets. In 2007 regular flights started from a seaplane terminal close to Glasgow's Science Centre.
Loch Lomond Seaplanes operates tours out to the west coast from the river Clyde. The Discovery seaplane tours are a magical and inspirational experience flying over Bute with views of Arran, Kintyre, Islay and Jura. Flying between 500 and 5000 feet the seaplane explores castles, mountains and glens and the beautiful Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
Or choose the Fly to Dinner one way from Glasgow to the De Vere Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond (dinner is not included). For further information call 01436 675030 email info@lochlomondseaplanes.com or visit Loch Lomond Seaplanes.
