Description

A partnership has been established to take forward the development of a solution to the problems of access between Glasgow and Clydebank along Dumbarton Road.  The Scottish Executive has funded the design through the City Growth Fund.  The study will look at all the options for improving public and private transport along the corridor including the best use for the existing Yoker Relief Road reservation from the end of South Street at BAE Scotstoun to Dock Street on the outskirts of Clydebank.

Consultation with the public took place during 2006 and the design of the new route is now being progressed towards a planning application.
