NFU Mutual has appointed Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and Knight Frank as joint letting agents for the prestigious office development Centenary House, known formerly as Clarion, in Glasgow's Wellington Street.
The agents are marketing 23,200 sq ft across the first, second
and third floors of the ten storey development, acquired earlier
this year by NFU Mutual Insurance Society Ltd from previous owners,
IVG/HBG.
The remaining space is occupied by Chartis UK Ltd (formerly AIG)
and NFU Mutual, which is re-locating from two other city centre
offices to create a new Glasgow HQ at Centenary House, named in
recognition of NFU Mutual's centenary this year.
Located in the heart of Glasgow's International Financial Services
District, Centenary House has achieved an "Excellent" BREEAM rating
and a B rated Energy Performance Certificate.
Aasia Ali, Associate Director, LSH said, "This building ticks all
the boxes. With the highest quality workspace, a great
location and excellent environmental credentials, we anticipate
significant interest."
Sinclair Browne, Partner, Knight Frank, said, "We acted on NFU's
behalf in acquiring the building and they realised it is probably
one of the best office buildings completed in the city in recent
years. We already have a number of parties expressing
interest in the available space."
