Description

This proposed mixed-use development consists of 925 bed student accommodation above a Tesco superstore. The project will also include 300 affordable homes and will provide an important physical and commercial link between Glasgow Harbour and the West End.

Planning approval for the building on the site of the old Partick scrap yard at Beith Street is currently being sought by Tesco Stores Ltd. Several options are under consideration.

The development will open up Kelvin Bank, with new riverside walkways and landscaped areas.

The estimated construction cost is £100 million.
