Green networks
This theme will be developed in the future to include lesson/project ideas. In the meantime we have provided some resources and links for you to use.
A key part of the regeneration is the access to and use of open space around the river. In order to ensure that adequate consideration was given to this a study was carried out in 2006 to develop the Clyde Waterfront Green Network Strategy. This overlaps with many of the other topics here including:
- planning and land use
- community and health
- arts, culture and heritage
- environmental links
- transport and access
- economic regeneration
The report has been posted in sections for download. Part 1 gives an overview of the strategy and context. Part 2 examines each of the six themes listed above. There are then the eleven 'action area' sections providing more detail on activity in each area.
