Description:
The 5.4-acre site, which lies between Holmfauld Rd and the BAE shipyard, has been lying disused for 15 years. It was recently acquired by Govan Workspace and there are plans to develop it as a high-quality business campus.
The development will be phased over the next 10 years. When completed will provide 130,000ft2 of office and workshop space.
Enabling works, including the treatment of site contamination, have already been carried out with financial support from the Scottish Government's Vacant & Derelict Land Fund through Glasgow City Council, and from Scottish Enterprise.
Current status:
Enabling Works completed. Govan Workspace is currently seeking funding for the project and hopes to be onsite in 2012.
