Description
The UK's fastest growing independent plant and tool hire company, GAP Group, has secured planning permission to build a £4.5m state-of-the-art new HQ at Braehead.
To be located at Titanium Business Park at the gateway to Braehead, GAP Group's new purpose-built HQ will extend to 27,000ft2. 190 staff will be employed on site when the building is completed in early 2009.
Established in 1969, GAP Group now employs over 900 staff in 57 depots across the UK stretching from the Highlands of Scotland to the English Channel. The company's turnover has grown to more than £80m and has increased at an average of 17% per annum for the last 20 years.
GAP group were attracted to Braehead as a location by the mix of leisure, retail, business and housing in one location.
