Description

The commercial district at Glasgow Harbour will provide high quality office accommodation in a beautiful new urban setting close to the river. The development of the commercial district alongside retail and leisure facilities will allow a community to develop where people can choose to live, work and relax without having to commute.

Outline planning permission is currently being sought and there is  scope for up to 600,000ft2 of office space.

Situated between the residential and retail areas, the commercial developments will all have a waterfront location and be easy to reach from Partick Station. The new properties will all contain a number of features designed to improve the work experience:

  • easy car, pedestrian, cycle and public transport access
  • convenient car parking
  • easy reach of retail/leisure district for lunchtime, shopping after work, or meeting up with friends or clients
  • leisure facilities within commercial district itself, for example to pick up a coffee or something to eat
  • parks and public space to meet up with friends or watch the world go by
  • brief walk from the residential district to work in the morning - beats the traffic
  • and not least, premium quality office space with high end communication facilities.

Glasgow Harbour is a 130-acre, high-quality mixed-use development on the west end of Glasgow waterfront.  It is one of the flagship projects of the Clyde waterfront regeneration. The regeneration of this extensive brownfield site, at an estimated cost of £1.2 billion has hugely beneficial economic, tourist and social implications for both Glasgow and Scotland as a whole.
