Description

The 20-acre mixed residential neighbourhood is part of the Queen's Dock 2 project and will be located to the west of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre. It will comprise up to 1600 homes, community facilities including a nursery school, a healthcare surgery, a restaurant and bar, a local supermarket and shops.

The sustainable village is within walking distance of both Byres Road and the city centre and is linked by a dedicated bus route and by proposed new bridge over the expressway to Kelvinhaugh.

The inclusive development will offer a variety of homes to suit a range of people from first time buyers to retired couples. The housing mix will also include homes for key workers, affordable housing and two-level properties designed for people who work from home, as well as a serviced apartment hotel for long stay visitors.
