Description

A mixed use development is planned at Lancefield Quay, consisting of two hotels as well as Class 4 business units, a residential development and multi-storey car park, commercial units and public realm. The first hotel to be built in this phased development will be located on Lancefield Quay/Lancefield Street.

In all, the new development will provide two hotels with a total of 450 bedrooms, 128 residential apartments,  25,317 m² of Class 4 Business use, 777 m² commercial floorspace and a 457 space multi-storey car park to serve the proposed development.

Detailed planning permission has been granted for the first hotel. The rest of the site has planning permission in principle

Clyde Waterfront is a strategic partnership comprising the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, Glasgow City, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire Councils. Its purpose is to promote the economic, social and environmental regeneration of 13 miles of the River Clyde from Glasgow city centre to Dumbarton.
