Description

The development at Junction 26 will take place on a nine-acre site and has a potential end-value in the region of £34million. The mixed-use project will incorporate 70 residential units, office space and a hotel. Initially the residential units and hotel will be developed.

Junction 26 forms a gateway development situated immediately on the J26 roundabout of the M8. The project is adjacent to Braehead Shopping Centre and its second phase, Renfrew Riverside, which includes the Ferry Village residential development of more than 2000 new homes, Riverside Braehead Business Park and Xscape. 

Future phases of Junction 26 will include a 15,000 sq ft class 4 office unit, plus additional commercial space.

Current status

Detailed planning received for 68 residential units, outline for Class 4 and hotel. Detailed planning permission submitted. Work is expected to start onsite in Autumn 2008
