Public amenity projects in Glasgow City Centre

Glasgow is renowned as a ‘dear green place’ and there are plans to ensure that the city remains a pleasant, attractive place in which to live and work.

A variety of public space projects are enhancing the environment. New lighting and environmental improvements are progressing and there are plans to make greater use of Glasgow Green with its prime riverside location.

Meanwhile, the Clyde walkway is revitalising the riverfront for locals and visitors alike and a series of cyclepaths are also proving popular.
