Leisure projects in Glasgow City Centre

The closeness of the riverfront to Glasgow's city centre provides significant opportunities for leisure and tourism.

The river is becoming a growing leisure and tourist destination with designer shops, stylish restaurants and café bars along the waterfront. As Glasgow develops tourism and business tourism opportunities the number of hotels in the city centre is set to grow.

Trongate 103 is the latest focus for the arts in the area, a stunning new development in th Merchant city. Nearby the Briggait redevelopment is creating a haven for arts workshops and studios.

Across the river, venues such as the Glasgow Science Centre, the Glasgow  Tower and the Renfrew Ferry, are also busy tourist destinations.
