Govan Town Hall was built between 1897-1901.
With its French neo-classical decoration the building strongly
asserts Govan's self confidence at the height of its
prosperity.
It is now Film City, a production and
media base for the burgeoning Scottish film industry. The
project brings a historical building back into viable
use. It is located near Pacific Quay, which is now
established as Scotland's premier digital media campus.
