Description

The development is organised into two primary components; the ‘Block’ and the ‘Tower’ together providing a total of 46 flats above 3 retail units - a contemporary interpretation of traditional tenement building.  The ‘Block’ occupies the traditional footprint to Oswald Street, with an east/west aspect whilst the ‘Tower’ provides a 'bookend' by extending fully to the west boundary and enclosing the private courtyard.

This 12 storey block takes full advantage of the south facing aspect with the upper storeys benefiting from long views over the Clyde.

The flats are accessed at street level, via a gated pedestrian pend between the ‘Block’ and ‘Tower’.  Both buildings are then accessed by centrally located lift and stair wells.

A secure private courtyard to the rear is overlooked by a west facing terrace at street level which provides external space to the ground level commercial spaces.
